With virtualization, VDI, VMWare, cloud services, etc. happening in a million different formats I believe that there has to be a balance between usability and price that historically hasn’t been had until Citrix has started the downward march to the SMB market. They have acquired Kaviza which allows them to offer streamlined and an “in-a-box” approach to desktop virtualization that is similar to what they did with their XenApp Fundamentals. When they released the simplified version of the MetaFrame product and made it easier to deploy, it was apparent that they were ready to bring their products to the SMB market and this is no different.
